"Your Silence Screams Goodbye" chatting, & other 'sick' stuff. (;
So "Your Silence Screams Goodbye" (my original song) has been posted onto YouTube now for a few days, & I am loving the feedback from everybody! Majority says it is a good song, but a few people say that there are a few lines they don't particularly like. For example the line "I'm sick of wasting my time texting you every midnight". Some people feel it was a filler line, or it made it seem "Disney-ish" or took out the meaning. Honestly, I put the line in there because I try to make my songs as relatable as possible & I really like putting in stuff that is real, you know? Because that really did happen. I texted him like every night trying to make him like me, ha ha! ;p Lammmmme... Girls don't do that! Ha ha.
I figure I'll talk a little bit about the song & how I came about to writing it. I wrote it about a guy who I had really strong feelings for, & he really just pretended he liked me for his own fun. He used me just because I was there & I think we can all relate to that. The song was written while I was in the process of still getting over him. I liked him for a long time & I was at the point where I knew I had to just get over him because all he was going to do was make for fall for him again and then drop me because I was nothing but a game to him. The only one who could stop it was myself, by not allowing him to. I used to try so hard to get this guy to have feelings for me back, & I thought I could be that one girl to change him & make him actually have real feelings. A lot of girls try to do that but now I realize no guy is worth it. If he isn't good enough now he never will be. & If you have to go out of your way & waste your time to make this guy worth it, he won't be. Ever. So now, I am completely recovered. I haven't seen him or talked to him in a long time, & I am completely over it, & proud! (: Sometimes blessings come in disguise; he was one of those. At the time it was so hard to get over & I didn't understand why it was happening to me, but I got a good song out of it, so I forgive him. Thank him, actually. (; So enough with the song. This whole week I have been miserabley sick. Yuck! I missed a whole week of school. I've been coughing, had a stuffy nose, headaches, body aches, everything you can imagine. I lived on my living room couch. Talk about no life & a waste of a week! I came down with this sickness the day after recording Your Silence Screams Goodbye. At least we got it done & posted! Ha! Speaking of recording, I'm SO excited for the next song we're doing! I'm actually not sure if it will be the very next song we post, but it will either be next or the one after. It will involve a lot of time so we may post a video in between the many hours we put into the song. YES I'm stoked! ;D So everyone, stay away from illness & have a nice weekend! -Krista! Random Everything.
For some reason I haven't been posting blogs lately, which is odd, because so much has been going on therefore I have so much to write about! But in a way it makes sense because I have been SO busy!
School is back in session, and surprisingly I am quite glad. Guess what! I have an A+ in science! I am so stoked! Hopefully I can keep that grade up there. I love my classes and I'm just having a great year so far. It's fall! Halloween is coming around the corner. (: Some theatre students in my class are doing this thing called "Trick-Or-Treat So Kids Can Eat". I'm going to do that! We get to go to nursing homes and spend time with the elderly (so fun!) and then collect food for the people who are less grateful. I'm way excited. Getting dressed up and having fun for a really great cause! What's better than that? I love helping others and making people feel good. Woo! (: Hmm, what else is going on? We just finished recording a simple video to an original song called "Your Silence Screams Goodbye". We should be posting it sometime this week, so check my YouTube site frequently so you can be there when it is up! I'm so excited to post a song I wrote myself, I love getting feedback! The song is actually unfinished, we still may add in a bridge or something, and we are posting it online so you guys can have a say, too! I want to know what you like and dislike about it so we can make it better. So this is a need-to-see video. (: Oh! More fun news! I'm going to be in our school production play "Hello Dolly"! I got the role of Minnie Fay. I am so glad to be in it. Rehearsals are fun and I love everyone I'm working with. We sing, we dance, we do it all! The play is in November, maybe we'll even get some good clips and we can put it on YouTube for you guys to see. Fun stuff :D Well, I will be posting more often, or try to, I promise! Everyone have a nice night (: With love, Krista. HOLLYWOOD.
Yes, the title is TRUE. Krista Nicole is now in Hollywood, California. :D
It is amazing. First off, thanks to all of you who helped get me here! I hope you feel your donations have gone to a good cause because I have been here less than a week and I already feel myself making so many improvements. Not only in my singing, but my acting and even possibly dancing! I have made so many friends, too. The people in my group are awesome. I know a few from last year, but even the new faces. We all bonded and we all get along so well. It's like we're our own little family. (: The classes they teach at CEY (Camp Electric Youth) are so great. We take a vocal technique class (which is my personal favorite), on camera, music theory, dance, songwriting, scene study, monologue, pop styling, and so much more. It is fantastic! My brain is bursting with knowledge! ;D It is actually very exciting. I've also got the chance to meet a lot of awesome people. Like Deborah Gibson (of course), a veryyyy great vocal coach whom they flew all the way down from New York ('cause he is that GOOD!) and a casting director. Howard Fine, Ted Brunetti, someone who has interviewed Paris Hilton, Britney Spears, and Oprah (to name just a few) etc etc. Point is there are so many knowledgeable people here I'm surrounded by -- It's fabulous. It's really cool to see how inspiring a camp like this can be. It has made me want to write more, sing more, act more, & dance more. I feel so much more outgoing and open and friendly! This camp is the most brilliant thing anyone could every come up with. So I'm thankful: To Deborah for having the amazing idea of this camp and giving everyone an opportunity to better themselves as performers, all the teachers at CEY for wanting to help us improve and get our dreams on track, and to all of you guys for being the ones to get me there. I thank you. I'm ever so grateful, and I don't think I can say it enough: THANK YOU.

1:32 PM Thank goodness it's spring!! The sun is shining, the birds are singing, the bugs are crawling (that one I'm not so happy about...) But everything else is beautiful and I am lovin' it! But I'm even more excited for summer which is coming around the corner here in a couple months! And then my birthday, June 26th :) Woo! Exciting. Speaking of exciting, some really awesome things have been happening lately because of you guys!! Thanks to your comments, I've decided to work a little bit more on broadening my range, working on my stage presense, and learning better breathing. There's always room for improvement, and I now have my own vocal coach. She is going to start coming over every tuesday and work with me on all the things I've just listed and more. I'm really excited to see how this pays off :) So you guys let me know if you notice anything differant in my up and coming videos! Also, I can't say much because nothing may come of it, but I did go down to Los Angelas California during spring break and I got to meet with some very nice people who are in the industry and I learned quite a bit just by talking to them. Thanks to all of you, I'm becoming noticed by important people and it's a really great feeling to know that my career is really starting to evolve and I have ALL OF YOU to thank!! Thank you!! So besides all of the above (and texting) the only other stuff I've been up to is school. We just got our quarter grades and mine are pretty varied. I have everything between an A+ and a D-. That's not very good... Good thing it's not our final grade. At our school, they count semester grades, not quarter. My goal is to raise my science grade of a D- to a B! And I'm typing this for the world to see so it gives me more motivation to accomplish it :) OH! And there is more. Not just school texting singing blah blah. Last night my friend Alyssa and I went to go see a movie. The Haunting in Connecticut. REALLY great movie!! I definitely reccomend seeing it. If you were there, you would have laughed. We were sitting next our friends from school, and one of them (Daniel) screamed like a little girl at the first scary scene. And he thought I was loud... Ha. Everyone in the theatre busted up at the shriek of a teenage boy. Embarrassingly enough, he was right next to us and we got the eyes of the whole theatre. Then after the movie, we came home and made some pretty dank brownies. Yay, food. Speaking of baking........ I burnt my hand the other day making egg rolls. :( Oh yeah, it hurt. I was trying to flip them with a spatula while they were still in the 450 degree oven and when I pulled my hand out the top of my hand touched the roof of the oven. I have a fatty red welt on my hand now. It really stinks :( But that's okay, they were yummy egg rolls. & While we're talking about diet, let's move onto excersise. Lately I have been running on the treadmill and singing my songs while running. It's supposed to help me learn to breathe better, but it's really hard and definitely makes you break a sweat. But it's good for me, especially with all the junk I've been eating. Well, I feel I've gabbed enough and I will now sign out. I'll keep you updated with blogs and newsletters and videos and bullitons as much as I can but you guys got to keep coming back so you can see them. Thanks!! :) <3 Krista myspace.com/kristanicolehudson youtube.com/kristaheartzuz youtrax.com GO GREEN!

10:50 AM My insperation for writing up this blog was a couple weeks ago, but I'm just now getting around to it. GO GREEN! I'm sure you've heard it everywhere: On TV, in magazines, online, on billboards... All over! But me? I was inspired, not by Victoria's Secret, but by my science class. Which is weird, because that's my worst class! We were learning about global warming and how it's effecting our earth today. One of the things that really stuck with me is that, if we don't change something about our lifestyles soon, the entire world is going to be taken over by insects! Literally!! This is because the earth is going to start to get so hot, that animals who can adapt to warm weathers (bugs) are going to survive and populate, and animals that can't (most mammals) will die due to the heat! I don't know about you, but I don't want bugs to run the universe. I also thought to myself, if I could prevent holes from forming in my ceiling and walls of my house just by making a few minor lifestyle changes, I defnitely would! It's my home and I don't want it getting destroyed by weather. The earth is also our home, and we need to save it. Here are some simple things that I'm doing and that you can do, too to save the earth:

12:15 PM Now, let's try this again. I already tried posting a blog an hour ago, but if you're part of my mailing list- You know what happened. If you're not: I accidentally grabbed the side of my dad's mouse where the BACK button is, and it erased my whole entire blog of about 30 minutes. I was just about to sign it with my name to. So, this is my SECOND valentines day blog... Love is in the air! I can smell it! ... Not really. I'm really sick and congested. But we'll talk more about that later... Since Valentines day is on a Saturday this year, it was celebrated at school yesterday. I didn't get anything, but of course my best friend Meghan did! And boy was she happy :) She got a secret admirer!! Aweee. He gave her a rose in a nice vase. Me, being the nosey person that I am, got the flouriest card out of the vase and called the place he bought it from. I asked the lady who came in Thursday afternoon and bought a red rose in a vase, but of course it's all confidential, so we never found out. But Admirer, if you're reading this... Meghan says thank you :) To make up for the fact that I never get an admirer, my mom and dad bought me red, pink and white cupcakes, a card, a teddy bear, and of course chocolates :) THANK YOU! But I'm not just a receiver. I'm a giver as well! I bought my mommy a packet of seeds :D I think she was kind of shocked that she didn't get a flower, but seeds to form some instead... But she still said thank you :) And for my dad.... WARNING: Dad, stop reading here. I haven't gotten him anything yet But as soon as I'm done with this (SECOND) blog, I'm going to hop in the shower and run down to Wal Mart and get him a card or something :)So now, let's discuss the music. We have reasons as to why it has been taking us so long to post videos lately. 1. Now that we have the recording stuff (microphones and such), it takes longer to record a video. It takes about 2 hours to set up, plus another 2 to get the song down perfect without any vocal cracks or guitar flubs (which you may have noticed there is one in Remembering Sunday! But that's a secret! SH!) And 2. I'm super sick, as I said before wayyyyy up there at the top of my blog. I'm coughing up a storm and my nose is running like a faucet. I used up all the Kleenex in the house yesterday and this morning, I'm actually now stuck with toilet paper which really stinks. Talk about taking things for granted. You never realize how amazing tissue is until your stuck using rough rolls of toilet paper (which I actually have sitting right in front of me on the desk along with used Kleenex.) You think that's gross? You should see my room! Looks like I had a Kleenex PARTY! It's on my bedside table, all over the floor, on my desk, on my bed... It's everywhere. And that's all just from last night! (I'm probably going to get in trouble now for telling the whole internet what a slob I am!) I do need to clean... Well, I don't want to jinx anyone rambling on and on about my cold, so I should end it here. Everyone have a great day, (week even!) and stay healthy, and DON'T GET SICK! (It's not fun!!) Krista
Dentist, lost makeup, and a whole lotta salsa!
Monday, January 19, 2009
2:10 PM Today is monday- Martin Luther King day, so we did not have school. But I did, however, have to wake up VERY early!! 5:00 AM! I had a dental appointment. Talk about PAINFUL! But they did tell me I get my braces off in a couple months :) I'm so excited!! But that's beside the point. The whole time that lady was cleaning my teeth, all I kept thinking was- "This will make a great blog; Just deal with the pain... Deal with it" Because it did hurt. I bled. And you know those awesome huge glasses they give you to sheild your eyes from the bright light? Well yes, I got to wear those. I looked pretty cool... But the water kept spraying all over my face, and I was drooling. The dentist is not my favorite place to go... But right after I got to go to the mall with my best friend Meghan, so I think that was pretty much worth going to the dentist. But I did lose $35 worth of makeup within 10 minutes of buying it. I was sad :( But this all brings us to now- The present time, being a little past noon. Meghan (my best friend) and I got very bored, and decided to try and make some food out of random stuff in the kitchen. Some how, it turned out to be salsa. And believe it or not, it's pretty darn good!! I can't tell you all the ingrediants, but I will say, one is oranges. Weird? I think not! It's the best darn salsa I've ever tasted! I'm thinking of actually selling it! You ever want to try it, you just let me know!! ;D Haha. Well, I hope everyone has a fabulous day! Peace! <3 My First Blog
Saturday, January 17, 2009.
8:37 PM I figured my first 'blog' should be me just telling a little bit about myself. Let's start with a name- Krista Nicole :) As you know, my goal in life is to become a professional singer. Yes, I do want to become famous, but most definitely not for money. I feel like with music, you can touch and relate to other's in so many ways. It's the best way of expression in my opinion and I just want to share my songs with the world! So, enough with the stuff you already know. Let's dig a little deeper, shall we? I love everything and anything zebra print. My room is full of it, and I don't think that this 'fad' of mine can ever die down. I'm never caught without my phone. I'm hardly ever caught not texting. I make the best macaroni and cheese; In my opinion. :) I use chap stick every few minutes. I live for the summer! I love horror films and getting the bajeebers scared out of me. It's so exciting! When I smile without my teeth showing, my mouth curves down at the edges like a frown. My favorite flower is a daisy. I smile 10x more than the average human :) I love my friends! They are number one! Surviving would be an issue without them. I'm very short- So I will tell you if you have a booger ;) I do believe everything happens for a reason, and every day you laugh you live an extra 3 years! I LOVE kids! My daily routine consists of singing, singing and.... Oh yeah! Singing. I absolutely love being introduced to new people and things. I will make friends with anyone. The more the merrier! I sing Christmas songs in the middle of summer. And last but not least- The one thing I want to tell EVERYONE reading this right now is THANK YOU. I can't stress it enough. I know that at the end of almost anything I type up on a site, or at the end of any online radio interview I do, I say thank you. But it truly comes from my heart and I repeat it so much because it's all I can really say! All my fans, subscribers, friends, family, and even supporters- You all have impacted me in such a huge way! Never in a million years would I be as far as I am today without you. So thank you for being so amazing and helping me. Much love!! <3 Krista Nicole. |

But as soon as I'm done with this (SECOND) blog, I'm going to hop in the shower and run down to Wal Mart and get him a card or something :)
